U.K. Trade Fall
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 13. Britain’s overseas trade in September was £s2m in the red—the biggest deficit for more than two years—the Board of Trade announced yesterday. . Unofficial strikers who have paralysed some English docks for nearly a month were blamed by the board for the widening of the trade gap oy £2sm.
Exports and reexports fell from August’s £435m to £42om —the lowest since June last year.
