Housewives’ President
[N.Z. Brett AMOciation) TAURANGA, Oct 12. Mrs J. H. Murdoch,, secretary of the Tauranga Housewives’ Association, was today elected as national president at the final day of the ninth biennial conference of the Federation of New Zealand Housewives, which was held in Tauranga this week. The patron of the Tauranga association, and Mayoress of Tauranga (Mrs D. S. Mitchell) was elected as vicepresident. Both positions take effect as from today and are twoyear terms.
