Sex Checks In Mexico
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MEXICO CITY.
Sex and drug checks will be made on athletes competing in the pre-Olympic events which will begin on Sunday —just as in the Olympic Games next year. Mr P. R. Vasquez, chairman of the Mexican Olympic Organising Committee, said that unlike sex checks for the recent big international events, these will be made after the women athletes have competed in the final. The first three in some predetermined events will be subjected to sex checks.
