Theory Of Lost Civilisation
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SYDNEY, Oct. 12. Prehistoric rock carvings found recently near Alice Springs supported the theory of a lost civilisation in the dead heart of Centfal Australia, according to the experts who found them. The carvings' were discovered by a group from the South Australian museum, Adelaide.
“They are superior to any known form of aboriginal culture, and could well be the work of a long lost super-race of aborigines,” the leader, Mr Robert Edwards, curator of anthropology at the museum, said on his return.
