Lost Match, “Stole” Cup

The Rabaui soccer team won the territory soccer championship, but its opponent. Manus, has the cup. Shortly after Rabaui won the match, 1-0, Manus supporters seized the silver championship cup and ran off with it.
A wild two-mile chase, joined by police, members of the Rabaui team and about 100 spectators, followed. But the cup finally disappeared and yesterday police were still searching for it.
