Bullets Hit Van
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, August 31. A bullet smashed into two windows of a van just behind the driver on the NgahereKopara road near Nelson creek in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and another bullet broke a rear vision mirror on the bonnet. The van was driven by a Runanga man. Mr Dennis Boddy, who was returning from an unsuccessful deerstalking expedition. Mr Boddy was alone at the time. Normally he has two friends with him who sit in the rear of the van. Thev decided not to go on the latest trip: and Mr Boddy said that one or both of them could have been hit by the bullet which smashed through the windows. . The Greymouth C.LB. is investigating!
