MR D. HALL Mr Douglas Hall, who served his apprenticeship as a jockey with the Riccarton trainer, F. D. Jones, in the early 19205, died in Christ church on Tuesday. He was
The successful horses in the Jones’ stable with which Mr Hall was associated early in his career Included Must ard Pot, The Reaver and Saratoga. Because of increasing weight he switched to riding jumpers. He was forced to retire after being seriously injured in a race fall at Washdyke. <■
