C.W.I. Concert
More than 300 members and friends attended a concert organised fay the Canterbury East Federation of Country Women’s Institutes in thi Lincoln Community Centre Items presented were.— Pianoforte solo, Mrs M. Boon iKillinchy); monologue, Mrs G. Tait (Doyieston); songs, Mrs K. Johnson (Leeston), Miss E. Watts (Akaroa); recitation, Mrs R. Findlay (Springston). Prebbleton presented a burlesque chorus. Springston, Irwell and executive members contributed sketches. A debate was won by Canterbury east.
