The Government’s White Paper on the liquor referendum was returned by the Satutes Revision Committee when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon, and was debated for two hours before being accepted without division. Ministers answered 11 questions. The evening was devoted to consideration of legislation. The following
received a second reading: the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Bill, the Land and Income Tax Amendment Bill No. 2.
