Little Reaction In U.K. Market
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter) LONDON, August 29. The pound sterling rose on foreign exchange markets this morning after Saturday's agreement among the “Group of Ten” Finance Ministers of the International Monetary Fund. The rate against the dollar was just over one-eighth of a cent higher than Fridays close at 2.78 and nine-six-teenths dollars. But there was no sharp reaction on the Stock Exchange to the British Government's Cabinet reshuffles.
