Fish Firms Co-operate
(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON, August 4.
Two major Nelson fishing companies announced today they would co-operate in fishing and marketing. They are the recently formed N.Z. Sea Products, Ltd., and Associated Fishermen (Nelson), Ltd. The secretary of Associated Fishermen, Mr J. S. Miller, said all fish caught by his company would be processed in the modern Sea Products factory. His company will retain processing of shellfish and fish for the local market In return Associated Fishermen will handle the New Zealand marketing of NE. Sea Products’ catch, with the exception of Wellington where it will be handled by another company.
