The salary of Senior Lecturers will be not less than $4600 per annum. A particularly well qualified applicant could be appointed at the grade of Associate Professor at a salary within the range of $5600 to $6600 per annum. HAYWARD, Registrar. 3220 UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY VISITING TEACHING FELLOWSHIP SIXTH-FORM CHEMISTRY teachers from any part of New Zealand are invited to apply for the position of Visiting Teaching Fellow in the department of chemistry of the University of Canterbury. The DirectorGeneral of Education has advised that the successful applicant may be granted full salary during the period of the fellowship. In addition, the one-year appointment will carry an emolument from the university of $l2OO. The fellow would be expected to report to the university early in February, 1968, and remain a member of the university staff until the close of the school year. He would have some teaching duties with stage I classes and would be encouraged to associate with one of the research groups. He would be free to attend university courses by agreement with the head of the chemistry department. Prospective applicants requiring further information should write to Professor J.
