Service For Pilot
A memorial service for Mr J. Harverson, of Christchurch, a pilot with the Missionary Aviation Fellowship in New Guinea who was reported missing while on a flight on June 23, will be held at the Bryndwr Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon. Mr Harverson was reported missing while on a flight in mountainous and heavily timbered country. An air and ground search was called off after 10 days. Mr Harverson was accompanied by two New Guinea students. Mrs Harverson and two children were expected back in Christchurch soon, said the Rev. J. L. North, minister of the Bryndwr Baptist Church.
