ROTHMANS PROFIT UP
Dividend Of 22%
Rothmans Tobacco Company, Ltd.; Napier, will pay a bonus dividend of 2 per cent as well as the normal 20 per cent dividend for the year to June 30, says the chairman and managing director (Mr B. W. Lindeman). The profit for the latest year rose $147,964, or 15.7 per cent, to $1,090,356. This was after providing $80,164 more for .depreciation at $354,972 and $151,482 more for tax al $1,156,284. The bonus dividend is to mark the tenth full year of operations, says Mir Lindeman.
The final dividend of 10 per cent and the bonus dividend are payable on October 6, ex September 27.
