Case Put For Forest
More than 40 representatives of Marlborough load authorities and organisations supported by the South Island Local Bodies Association went to Wellington on Wednesday to press the case for a forest park in Marlborough.
The deputation, led by the Mayor of Blenheim (Mr S. P. Harling). and with Mr M. Wallace, of the South Island Local Bodies’ lands committee, as one of the main speakers, met the Minister of Forests (Mr Maclntyre).
