It is a mark of the great impression that he made in Canterbury Rugby in 1950 and 1951 that T. W. Lvnch should be chosen as the best Canterbury second five-eighths since the Second World War, although he played only eight matches for the province. Lynch's great year for Canterbury was in 1951.
