Sydenham House Sold
A house at 78 Coleridge street, Sydenham, was sold immediately after being passed in at £3200 at public auction yesterday. The auction was held by the New Zealand Fanners’ Co-operative Association, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr G. B. Harty. The house has a living room, dining room, two bedrooms, kitchen, sunroom, bathroom, and laundry. There are also a garage and a shed on the section of 24 perches, zoned industrial B. The Government valuation is £2OOO. A four-bedroomed house at 26 Heaton street, Papanui, was passed in at £8750. The auction was held by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr P. T. Battersby. Outbuildings on the section of half an acre include a double garage, summer house and aquarium. The Government valuation is £7250.
