More Concords Sold To U.S.
(Special Crtpdt. N.Z.P.A) LONDON, June 1. Eastern Airlines, of America, has ordered two more Concord supersonic airliners and taken an option on a further two, according to the “Daily Telegraph.” The airline has four Concords on. order already, so that the value of its order is now £45 million. Orders for at least four more Concords were expected to be announced from Paris before the international air show at Le Bourget ended, the newspaper said. “The announcement would bring the number of Concords ordered to 78, worth £585 million.
