CABIN CASSEROLE In a greased casserole, place alternate layers of: Sliced onions Sliced fresh tomatoes or bottled tomatoes Sliced potatoes (one per person). Season each layer with salt, pepper and curry powder. On top, lay browned and seasoned chops. Bake at 350 deg. F. (Reg. 4) uncovered for 45 minutes; cover and bake 30 minutes longer. POTATO ROLLS Mix: 1 cup mashed potato (8oz) i cup (2oz) flour i teaspoon baking powder 1. tablespoon melted butter or other fat i teaspoon salt A shake of pepper Add a little milk and mix to a stiff dough. Roll out quarter-inch thick on a floured board. Cut into oblongs, four by six inches. Place a spoonful of seasoned left-over meat, or a piece of cheese, on the middle of each. Roll up, pinch ends closed. Dip into beaten egg, then breadcrumbs. Fry in deep fat until golden brown. Drain. Serve the rolls hot with a tomato or mushroom sauce for lunch or tea, or allow to cool, and use in a cut lunch as a change from sandwiches.
