NELSON GIRL WINS TITLE
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) CHICAGO, (Illinois), May 28. Miss Kristiiana Kankaanpaa, of Tampere, Finland, had been crowned “International Teen Princess,” the Associated Press reported. Miss Kankaanpaa, aged 16, a blonde, was chosen on Friday night from 15 girls from all parts of the globe. Miss Karen Mackay, of Nelson, New Zealand, was named the “Best-groomed Teen Princess.”
