Emerson (Australia) and 1. Gu.yas (Hungary) won through to meet for a place in the final. Emerson gained a speedy, 6- 64, 64, win over P. Darmon (France). Gulyas beat 0. Davidson (Australia), 5-7, 63, 63, 60. In the other half of the draw, N. Pilic (Jugoslavia) knocked out T. Okker (Holland), 63, 11-9, 62. Once again Miss Maria Bueno, Brazil’s former Wimbledon champion, looked the most impressive in the women's field as she majestically beat the British champion, Miss Virginia Wade. 61. 7Results: Women's Singles Fourth Round.—Miss L.
