RAT ABOARD AIRLINER
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 31. A rat which delayed an Air India Boeing 707 jet airliner with 94 passengers more than four hours at Nandi Airport today had still not been found when the plane arrived in Sydney. When the aircraft landed at Sydney Airport, health authorities took special precautions to prevent any disease from the rat escaping from the aircraft All passengers were disembarked from the rear door while the front portion of the plane was sealed and given a seven-minute spraying of antiseptic. The airliner later left Sydney with no trace of the rat being found.
