Smuggled Gold Seized
Press Assn. —Copyright) KARACHI. May 31. Customs agents seized S2 million in gold yesterday and arrested 15 people on charges of smuggling the bullion into Pakistan. The smugglers had wrapped the gold bars in gunny sacks and hidden them on the ocean floor with ropes attached to markers on the water's surface. The police called it the biggest gold seizure in Pakistani history.
