Life-line Calls
Marriage and family guidance problems still form the main category of problems dealt with by Life-line, according to recent figures.
A total of 361 calls were received by the service in the first three months of this year. This included 107 for marriage and family guidance, 68 from people who were lonely, ill or depressed, and 52 seeking general guidance. A total of 52 calls were received between Il p.m. and 9 a.m. Since It began in July, 1964, Life-line has received 2996 calls.
