NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pahau Rabbit Board has by resolution dated May 29, 1967, classified all the land in its district for the purposes, of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing on April 1, 1967, and ending on March 31, 1968. A list setting forth such classification may be inspected without fee at the office of the Board, Boyd, Knight and Todd, 143 Hereford street, Christchurch, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on week-days and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 1967, until 5 p.m., Friday, June 30. 1967. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pahau Rabbit Board intends at a meeting of the Board to be held at Culverden at 10 a.m. on July 3, 1967, to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing April 1, 1967. and ending on March 31, 1968, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land: CLASS I—7|d (6.25 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class I of its classification list. CLASS II —6|d (5 416 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class II of its classification list. CLASS lll—6d (5 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class 111 of its classification list. ULASS IV—4|d (3 5416 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class IV of its classification list. CLASS V—Bid (2.916 cents) per acre- in respect of land in Class V of its classification list. CLASS Vl—3id (2.7083 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class VI of its classification list. CLASS Vll—2id (1.875 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class VII of its classification list. CLASS VIII—Ifd (1.4583 cents) per acre in respect of land in Class VIII of its classification list. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN THAT THE SAID RATE will become payable at the office of the Board in one sum on the twelfth day of July, 1967. and that the rate book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 1 D.m. and 2 n.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. An additional charge of 10 per cent will be added to all rates unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen days from the date of demand and shall be payable and recoverable accordingly.
