Ratna Sari Dewi Sukarno, the Japanese-born wife of the deposed President of Indonesia, said today she had decided to postpone her return to Djakarta, the Associated Press reported. “I believe it would be better for my baby if we delayed our return home," the beautiful, 27-year-old Mrs Sukarno said. She did not specify a date for her return. This was the first confirmation from Mrs Sukarno of reports from Djakarta over the week-end that political sources there had said it was unlikely she would return. She was recuperating from a case of food poisoning when contacted by the Associated Press at her home in Tokyo. Zamroni, chairman of toe Kami Student Action Front in Djakarta, told newsmen In the Indonesian capital that Mrs Sukarno, third wife of the former leader, would be foolish to return from Tokyo with her new-born baby girl. She previously had Intended to return in early June to join Sukarno for his 66th birthday on June 6. Zamroni was quoted as warning Mrs Sukarno that if she did return, she would face questioning about her wealth and would possibly have much of her property In Djakarta, including a spacious house, seized. Mrs Sukarno said she had a bad case of food poisoning yesterday. She said she believed it was due to seafood she had eaten.
