Detainees Released
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ATHENS, May 30. About one-fifth of the people taken into custody during the Greek Army takeover on April 21 have been released so far, the Minister of the Interior, BrigadierGeneral Stylianos Patakos, said last night. Brigadier Patakos yesterday visited the Aegean island of Yaros, where the political prisoners are detained, to examine the conditions under which they are living. He said that so far 1260 of the 6138 prisoners had been released.
