(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SHEFFIELD, May 26. A man who stole almost 10,000 books from Sheffield public libraries over 15 years was placed on probation today for three years. Police found the books, 9319 of them, at the home of Ronald Cawthorne, aged 47, an unemployed timekeeper. He pleaded guilty.
