Schools v. Centre
Two squads of 14 each were named yesterday for the Olympic Training Centre and Secondary Schools' teams to play in the curtain-raiser to the New Zealand v. Manchester United soccer match at English Park on Wednesday. The match will be of 30 minutes each way and the kickoff is 6 p.m. The squads are: Schools: R. Hadlee, R. Webb, R. Pickrill, M. Beaumont, K. Squire (Christchurch 8.H.5.); F. D’Ath, P. Jarman (Cashmere H.S.); T. Blake, D. Mackay, R. Rossiter (Mairehau H.S.); G. Dacombe, M. Parker, R. Inges (Linwood H.S.); K. Kltney (Hlllmorton H.S.). Manager: Mr D. S. Walker (Mairehau H.S.). Training Centre: S. Cooper (Riccarton H.S.); N. Partleton, J. Paynter, A. Marley, R. Aitcheson (Brighton); D. Smith (St. Andrews College); G. Tait, D. Hill, G. Storer (Mairehau H.S.); M. Lawson, B. Stevens (Shamrock): C. Attridge (Christchurch 8.H.5.); P. Whelan (Rangers); S. Cameron (City). Manager: Mr J.
