Tigers Kill Woman

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ROUEN (France), May 28. Two enraged tigers last night mauled a young woman to death and stalked around her body for several hours before being recaptured. Dozens of police had stood helpless as the tigers resisted all attempts to re-cage them after breaking loose at an animal training centre. People fled in panic as the tigers roamed in the park surrounding the Chateau de Saint-Pierre de Varengevilie where the centre is situated. It was not until several hours later that they were finally trapped.
