NEW S.A. BILL
Terrorism Penalties (N.Z.PA.-Reuter—Copyright) CAPETOWN, May 28. South Africa's new antiterrorism bill—published yesterday—lays down execution as the maximum penalty for terrorist activities. The minimum is five years’ gaol. The bill also provides for summary trial by a judge without jury, and the indefinite detention of those suspected of sabotage, or of withholding information from the police.
