Bomb Explodes At U.S. Dock

Five men were injured yesterday, none seriously, when an aerial bomb exploded in a rail freight truck at the ammunition loading dock in Port Chicago, the Navy said today.
A spokesman said quick action by naval firemen in putting out a blaze averted a possible disaster. The bomb was to be loaded on a ship bound for Vietnam.
