Mr V. M. Collins, who on June 30 , will retire as manager of the wool department Of Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd, at Christchurch, has accepted a new appointment
From July 1 he will become the South Island inspector for the New Zealand Woolbrokers’ Association. Mr Collins’s new appointment has been welcomed by broken. Several speakers for this section of the trade said at the recent Wool conference that the appointment represented a major step in efforts to promote standard classification.
Since the start of the 196647 selling season brokers have been applying standard symbols In the description for quality and length of binned and reclassed lines, and Mr Collins’s work will involve Implementing uniformity in all stores in his territory so leading to better presentation of the dip for marketing.
