Campaign On Poisonings

Chemists throughout Now Zealand will distribute leaflets on how to guard against accidental poisonings in the home. This is part of a “Poisons Month” campaign in which the Health Department, the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand and the Chemists’ Guild of New Zealand art combining to combat the incidence of accidental poisonings of children. The chemists will also distribute millions of perforated labels showing a skull and crossbones and the word “danger” for use on household products which contain poison. Instructions on using the labels will be included.
