The Department has Interests in crop-environment relationships and Is active In legume and cereal breeding. The Department plans to extend Its teaching and research activities. The fields and background sought are in the general areas of: (a) Crop Physiology. Either in (I) the water relations ot plants: or (II) the carbohydrate metabolism ot plants.
