A Personnel Service An Executive position, involving financial management and office management, for a progressive practical COMPANY SECRETARY A fedy-qucdified accountant, preferably with secretarial qualifications or degree in Commerce, is required for one of New Zealand's best-known footwear mamifacturers. M. O'BRIEN & CO. LTD. The retiring Secretary has been with our client for many years. Its growth and current plans for expansion demand that his replacement be a young man, conversant with financial management, data processing, budgetary control and information systems, in addition to secretarial formalities. The future management lies In the hands at a small group of progressive executives df which he is a key member. The Secretary will control the office staff and, together with the Management Accountant, will produce monthly financial and cost reports, and Annual Accounts. He will control credit, and adequately protect the company In respect of insurances, assets, leases and contracts. The Managing Director expects to rely on the Secretary’s business acumen to assist him in negotiations, forecasts, liquidity control, etc. We expect the applicant will be 30-35 years of age and that he will commence at a salary in the range of ElBOO-E2200 p.a. plus fringe benefits up to a maximum of £3OO. Experience in the world of business marketing as well as in industrial accounting would be a distint advantage.
