SISTERS INVITED

Match With England An invitation will be sent to Misses Y. Fogarty and M. Fogarty, of Otago, to play an exhibition match, when Canterbury meets England at Cowles stadium on July 26, the Canterbury Table Tennis Association decided. Mr A R McCallum, the association’s president, said that these girls would be a great drawcard for the match, as Miss Y. Fogarty is the outstanding junior player in New Zealand. She holds five national junior titles, and on the tour of Europe recently won the Scottish junior championship and several open doubles titles. In the New Zealand girls' ranking for 1966, Miss Y. Fogarty was placed first and Miss M. Fogarty second. Latest reports from Dunedin state that Miss Y. Fogarty is in such brilliant form that the. only Saale player to beat her this 1 season is the New Zealand champion, B. A. Foster.
