CLOUD OVER COUNTRY
Air Traffic Affected Low cloud over most of New Zealand disrupted air traffic in and out of Christchurch yesterday. There were delays of up to 90 minutes, and two flights were cancelled. The airport at Christchurch was closed to landings -between 10 aun. and 11, ajn. but flights resumed shortly afterwards. The only flights cancelled affected an aircraft from Auckland. It was to continue to Dunedin and then return to Christchurch, but thd flight' to Dunedin and the return flight to Christchurch were cancelled. A special Friendship flight to Dunedin was run in the afternoon to clear disrupted southbound passengers and to bring passengers to Christchurch.
