Pedestrian Hit By Car
Miss Wendlen Wyse, of 73 Yaldhurst road, suffered serious head and leg injuries when she was struck by a car in Straven road near the intersection of Riccarton road about 9.10 p.m. yesterday. She was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where her condition last night was satisfactory.
