BRADDON TO TAKE‘TRIP’
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, May 26. The Australian author, Russell Braddon, is to take LSD under medical supervision to gain first-hand experience for his new book, the “Evening News” reported today. Author of ‘"The Naked Island,” he won fame with his descriptions of his experiences in a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp. “I am absolutely against the taking of drugs, and, frankly. I’d rather, have my appendix out than do what I am planning to do,” he said, according to the newspaper.
