Marsden Unit At Peak
(N.Z. Press Auociation) WHANGAREI, May 26. The No. 1 unit at the Marsden power station reached its futi capacity of 120,900 kilowatts under test at 2.30 pjn. yesterday, giving enough power to serve the whole of Northland, and still feed half the output into the national grid. This output will be doubled when the second unit is commissioned later this year.
