No Room At Scott Base (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 25. No facilities could be provided for tourists at Scott Base without upsetting the Government’s Antarctic scientific programme, the Minister of Customs (Mr Shelton) said in Parliament today. The Minister was replying on behalf of the Minister of Science (Mr Taiboys) to Mr D. J. Riddiford (Nat., Wellington Central).
