Parliament’s Diary.
The Sale of Liquor Poll Bill and the Electoral Poll Bill were introduced when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon. Both were read a first time, given a pro forma second reading, and referred to the statutes revision committee.
Papers relating to a civil aviation agreement between New Zealand and Western Samoa were tabled. Ministers answered nine questions. The Wellington City Cuba Street Mall) Empowering Bill was read a second time.
Urgency was then taken on all stages of the Transport Amendment Bill.
