Commenting on some of the floral entries is the course tutor, Mrs B. Oakley, of Ashburton (middle). On the left is Miss J. Smith, secretary of the Canterbury regional co-ordinating committee of the C.W.I. and W.D.F.F., and on the right, Mrs J. Rennie, the chairman. The course was organised to help establish a uniform standard of judging for the floral art competitions of both organisations.
