PUBLIC NOTICES WAITOHI RABBIT BOARD NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION OF LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPOSING A DIFFERENTIAL RATE IN THE RABBIT BOARD . PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 65 OF “THE RABBITS ACT, 1955” Notice is hereby given that the Waitohi Rabbit Board has by resolution dated the 18th day of May, 1967, classified all the land in the district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing April 1, 1967, and ending on March 31, 1968. A list setting forth such classifications may be Inspected without fee at the office of the Board, Boyd, Knight and Todd, 143 Hereford street, Christchurch, between the hours of 9am and 5 p.m. on week days, or at the Hawarden Post Office during business hours, and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m., Thursday. June 8, 1967, until 5 p.m., July 6, 1967 NOTICE OF PROPORTION OF RATE PROPOSED BY THE WAI TOHI RABBIT BOARD TO BE APPOINTED IN RESPECT OF THE RESPECTIVE CLASSES OF LAND IN ITS DISTRICT AS SET OUT HEREUNDER. ’ IN THE MATTER of the Rab bits Act, 1955, and its amendments. Notice is hereby given that the Waitohi Rabbit Board intends at a meeting of the Board, to be held at Waikari at 1.30 p.m. on July 14, 1967, to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing April 1, 1967, and ending on March 31, 1968, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land: 2.5 cents per acre in respect of land in Class I of its classification list. 3 cents per acre in respect of land in Class II of its classification list. 4 cents per acre in respect of land in Class 111 of its classification list. 5 cents per acre in respect of land in Class IV of its classification list. 6.5 cents per acre in respect of land in Class V of its classification list. 8 cents per acre in respect of land in Class VI of its classification list. 10 cents per acre in respect of land in Class VII of its classification list. And notice is hereby further given that the said rate will become payable at the office of the Board in one sum on the 31st day of July, 1967, and that the Rate Book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. An additional 10 per cent will be added to all rates unpaid at the expiration of sdx months and 14 days from the date of demand and shall be payable and recoverable accordingly.
