NEW ENGLISH ACTRESS
Experience under the direction of Tyrone Guthrie at the Old Vic, with the Bristol Old Vic and Lincoln Repertory, and a number of radio and television appearances, provide a varied back-
ground of great experience for the last appointee as actress to the Canterbury Theatre Trust from overseas. Miss Kathleen Hilditch, from England.
Miss Hilditch played such roles as Julia in “The Rivals,” Leading Actress in “Six Characters in Search of an Author,” Susan in “Abraham Lincoln,” Naomi In “Noah," and Jebanne in “The Sulky Fire,” while at the Old Vic. Some of her more recent roles have been as Mrs Railton Bell in “The Reluctant Debutante,” Mrs Bramson in “Night Must Fall,” Mrs Higgins in “Pygmalion,” and 8.8. C. TV’s “Eugenie Onegin.”
