Young Off Again
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copi/rlpht) KALGOORLIE.
The New Zealand long distance runner, J. Young, left Kalgoorlie yesterday to attempt to run 1050 miles across the vast Nullarbor Plains to Port Augusta. Young originally started from Perth last Saturday to run to Sydney but gave up after 53 miles because of kidney trouble and what he claimed was a “lack of consideration from motorists.” The New Zealander will fol. low the trans-continental railway line and hopes to average 35 miles a day.
