RESTAURANT LICENSED
Objections By Hotels (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 24. A new restaurant which will be opened in a multi-storey building in the heart of Wellington was granted a liquor licence today by the Licensing Control Commission. The commission granted a licence to International Restaurants, Ltd., for premises on the plaza floor of Challenge House, Lambton Quay. The commission overruled objections by the Hotel Association, which questioned whether, in view of the present liquor supplies, another licensed restaurant was necessary in Wellington.
