ASSISTANT SECRETARY
Labour Party Appointment (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 24. The unsuccessful Labour candidate for Remuera at the general election, Mr W. C. Nairn, has been appointed assistant secretary of the Labour Party. Mr Nairn, who will take up his new post in Wellington next week, succeeds Mr F. Colman, the new Labour member of Parliament for Petone.
Mr Nairn is married with three children. He is 27, has been associated with the Labour Party for 10 years and has held positions in party branches.
