Former City Vicar dV.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) BRISBANE, May 23. A Second World War chaplain with the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the Rt Rev. C. E. B. Musch amp, was today appointed Dean of Brisbane.
Bishop Muschamp—at present Bishop of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia—was expected to take up the post early in Octobe •, said the Archbishop of Brisbane, the Most Rev. P. N. W. Strong. The 64-year-old Englishborn bishop was vicar at St. Michael’s Church, Christchurch, from 1937 to 1950. He gained his M.A. at Oxford. He has two sons and two daughters. One son is a sea-1 men’s mission -chaplain in]' England.
